Surprise
(Doctor P x Sweet Marsala)
2018 Non-Breeding Male

Surprise was just that, a surprise!

Doctor P escaped one day and was found in our female pasture. Although we administered medication to avoid any unwanted pregnancies, Surprise was still born.

Unfortunately his dam was just over two when she gave birth. Marsala was a wonderful mother and Surprise required no supplementation, but we believe this impacted his growth.

He is friendly and eye catching, but pretty small. A broken shoulder kept him from being sold as a pet in 2019. He is fully recovered and will be available in the Sping of 2021. Surprise is very friendly, but not traditionally lead broken.

Pictures are from 8/2020.

Tambourine Lady
(CVLR Kipton x MGF Turquissa)
2020 Silky/Suri Female

You will be hard pressed to find a female as sweet and loving as Tambourine. She meets us at the gate each day to greet us with kisses and loves to be pet on the neck.

Tambourine loves to help out on the farm. She very much enjoys assisting with feeding time, picking up fence fixing tools with her mouth, and standing in your way in hopes you'll take a break from your busy day to give her some love.

I expect Tambourine to be fairly large when she matures. Her sire is 48" at the withers and her dam is 47". Tambourine was born two weeks early and as a result, had a slower start than her peers. She is catching up quickly will likely surpass them in size by fall.

Tambourine has been started on her lead training, but is still very green when it comes to walking away from her buddies.

She has a bright future ahead of her as your companion, therapy llama, public relations pal, pretty pasture ornament, or your best friend.

Man on the Moon
(CVLR Kipton x In the Light of the Moon)
2020 Light Wool Male

Manly is an incredibly athletic, gray, light wool male. He is classic presenting (Significant guard hair, mane down his neck, soft and crimpy undercoat, athletic build, and little to no fiber coverage down his legs), but has several heavy wool ancestors.

Although he is still green on a halter, Manly is smart minded and will make an excellent trail / performance llama. He is incredibly correct in is overall makeup and could give any llama a run for their money in the show ring.

We expect Manly to grow to a good size as his sire is a true 48" at the withers and his dam is 47". Both parents have wonderful dispositions and his dam has successfully packed out several times.

Manly has a very bright future ahead of him and he will be a part of our show string until he is sold.

Dearly
2019 Medium Wool Female

"Dearly", as she is known around the farm, is a sweet, well mannered, yearling female. Her dam was pretty sick when Dearly was born and a result, she is smaller than we'd like to see in our breeding females. Her ears are tipped and she is a little narrow for her frame. Our standards are high and while these qualities force us to cull her from our breeding program, they actually make her a more endearing as a pet or companion llama.

Dearly is still fairly green under the halter. Although she's older, we've never really had to handle her. She's incredibly manageable and just kind of scoots where you need her to go without a halter and lead. The kids around the farm have started working with her on the obstacle courses and I have no doubt that she'll be a pro in no time.

Dearly would make a great pet, 4H llama, companion, and possibly even a guard. She is smaller in size, but loves taking care of, watching over, and doting on our juvenile llamas. She comes from our best mothering genetics and I have no doubt that she would be very maternal towards smaller livestock.
