Foundation DamsWe are incredibly proud of the female breeding herd that we have assembled at Namaste Farm Llamas. These girls have been selected or bred for easy births, prodigious milking, size, correct conformation, parasite resistance, and disposition.
When you visit our farm you will notice that our female herd is shorn completely down. One reason is to harvest their luxurious fiber but more importantly, it helps keep our girls cool and comfortable during their year long gestation. Please feel free to inquire about any the females listed below. |
Free Spiritt
(Doctor P x AAL Milestone's Kindred Spiritt) 2021 * Reg: 280493 Another top-notch combination of Doctor P and Kindred. "Frieda" won Best in Show her first time off the farm and has been racking up the ribbons since. As she matures she is looking more and more like her sire, Doctor P. She has proven herself to be an incredible mother.

High Meadow's Summer Sunshine
(Doctor P x Roxy Roller) 2018 * Reg: 292123 Kathy and Jerry Hanson brought their beloved female, Roxy, to our farm in 2017 to be bred to Doctor P. She gave birth to Sunny the following year and lived a very spoiled life with the Hansons. When Kathy and Jerry needed to retire from raising llamas, they entrusted Sunny to us. We can't thank them enough for the opportunity to have this Doctor P daughter in our herd. Even though her dam is average sized, Sunny grew to be enormous. She is probably one of the biggest females on the farm, and that is saying something. She is framey, well behaved, has incredible fiber, and inherited the incredible mothering abilities from her dam.
Sunny was attacked by a dog while on a walk in town with her former owners. As a result, she has a broken ear. It does not affect her daily life and it adds a ton of character to her already silly personality. |
Rockstarr
(Doctor P x Bradford Mariabel Starr) 2020 * Reg: 280493 Rockstarr is just that - a rockstar! She is as big, framey, and correct as her pedigree says she should be. Having Doctor P as a sire never hurts, but it's her dam line that is truly exciting. Within 4 generations you'll see names like GNLC Starbucks, Macho Macho, Mirabelle, and The Fiduciary.
Rockstarr had an incredible show career, winning several championship and even Best in Show at the Iowa State Fair in 2021. Rockstarr is bred to Capstone for 2025! |
She Makes Me Smile
(Doctor P x Santana's S'mores 2020 * Reg: 280493 And she does! 'Miley' is a direct daughter of Doctor P and out of an Argentine Poltergeist daughter. She looks exactly as her pedigree reads; large boned, heavy coverage, extended neck, and loads of eye appeal. Miley isn't just a pretty face, she's come home with several awards including a Best in Show from the 2022 Iowa State Fair.
She Makes Me Smile is being bred to GVL King Juba for 2025! |
The Queen of Hearts
(GNLC Rampart x CTF Renegade's Outlaw Heart) 2020 * Reg: 280493 Queen is a direct daughter of GNLC Rampart and has exceeded our expectations in both the show ring and breeding pen. Queen's dam (BAL Renegade x Arg. Kobra) is a phenomenal mother with heavy milk production and she has passed these traits down to Queen.
Grand Champion - Heartland 2021 Reserve Champion - Iowa State Fair 2021 Grand Champion - Fall Harvest 2021 Best in Show - Fall Harvest 2021 Grand Champion - Iowa State Fair 2022 Grand Champion - Llamapalooza 2022 Best in Show - Llamapalooza 2022 |
Amity
(GVL King Juba x Ollendick Farm's AlleyMae) 2020 * Reg: 280493 Amity is one of our most impressive females on our farm in terms of size and correctness. Everyone who visits asks about her first. Both her sire and dam are past national champions and Amity is made of the material. She's extremely maternal and has proven to be an excellent mother.

Stone Crest Spot of T 'n Muffins
(Mystery's Timone x TooMuffin RTC) 2011 * Reg: 282594 "Muffin" is a treasured daughter of the one and only 'Mystery's Timone'. Her dam, TooMuffin, was bred by Randy Cipriano and her pedigree boasts the names of his most successful sires - Argentine Fresco, Kayla Shay RTC, RAR Richochet, and The Boss.
In her short show career, Muffin was able to bring home several purples in halter and fiber competitions. We are so grateful to our friends Greg and Jody Peters of Stone Crest Llamas, WI for allowing us to acquire this magnificent female. Stone Crest Spot of T'n Muffins is being bred to Tor Sorensen's 2024 National Champion Silky Male, Quentin for a 2025 cria! |
NWLF M. Butterfly
(Frame Work's Palomo x MWLF Marisopa) 2012 * Reg: 284451 I could write a book about NWLF M. Butterfly. She is one of the most winning females in the country. We are so blessed that Darrell and Merlene Anderson entrusted us with her. In addition to her incredible conformation, Butterfly is a sweet dispositioned llama with exceptional mothering abilities. Her offspring have been named champions themselves. We are so looking forward to her future.
*NWLF M. Butterfly is co-owned with Josh and Emilly Brodeur of Brodeur Family Farms. |
Designed
(Delago x JLL Hail Mary) 2014 * Reg: 287865 Designed is an extremely exotic female with significant sentimental value to us. She is an exact look-a-like of her sire, Delago (Particular x Cleocatra), who we purchased as our first herdsire. Designed was his only offspring before his untimely death. She was in utero of JLL Hail Mary, an LW Marcellus daughter purchased by Pat and Jenni Olson. Jenni and Pat Olson then gifted us this lovely girl. In 2018 she produced our favorite Doctor P daughter to date.
Designed is being bred to Tor Sorensen's 2024 National Champion Silky Male, Quentin for a 2025 cria! |
Bradford's Maribel Starr
(GNLC Starbucks x LW Macaroon) 2007 * Reg: 271768 We have long admired the successful show and breeding career of Maribel's famous sire, GNLC Starbucks. Equally as notable is the pedigree of her dam, LW Macaroon, who is sired by Macho Macho and out of highest selling Fiduciary daughter, Mirabelle.
Our Maribel is as correct as they come and an outstanding mother. Her cria have averaged a 1.5 lb gain/day. Maribel Starr is bred to Mach's Tennessee Whiskey for 2024. |
In the Light of the Moon
(Red Harvest Moon x Morning Surprise) 2015 * Reg: 289133 "Lyla" is an exceptional classic-style llama. In her younger years, Lyla did extremely well in the show ring even when competing against medium to heavy wool llamas in her division.
Her success didn't end in the show ring as she has displayed the abilities of both a formidable packer and an excellent mother. We know she didn't come by these traits by accident as Lyla's dam was an easy breeder and heavy milker. In the Light of the Moon will be left open so she is ready to breed in 2025! |
ALL Milestone's Kindred Spiritt
(Solid Rock's Milestone x Wild Ridge Margarita) 2012 * Reg: 284709 Kindred is a light wool female of great stature, bloodlines, and very fine fleece. She is sired by Solid Rock's Milestone, one of the most winning llamas produced by our friends, Darrel and Merlene Anderson. Her dam was a very tall, classic fibered female.
Kindred's offspring have been all female thus far and each one a knockout. There has been something magical about crossing her with Doctor P and we have retained two of her daughters. Kindred is an excellent mother and even nursed another one of our other cria needing supplementation. ALL Milestone's Kindred Spiritt will be left open so she is ready to breed in 2025! |
Tahliah
(BAL Whistishire x Phantasma) 2010 * Reg: 281900 Tahliah is the daughter of National Champion Whist son, BAL Whistishire, and out of our own Silverspirit daughter. She did well in the show ring as a youngster and is excelling as a producer for our farm.
This compact powerhouse is not only built right, but has a sweet disposition. Quirky, mischievous, and silly - Tahliah has the attention of all who visit our farm. |
Phancy
(Champagner x Phantasma) 2012 * Reg: 285535 Phancy is just that - Fancy! Her sire, Champagner, made quite the name for himself with Sapaveco Ranches and Mark Smith Farm. Phancy's dam, Phantasma, was our many time champion daughter of Silverspirit. In fact, we had our logo designed specifically after Phancy's mother.
She will remain in our herd as a replacement for her dam in our breeding program. Phancy is very friendly and always seems to be the first to greet any visitors. |
