Doctor P was an exciting addition to our herdsire lineup in the Summer of 2016. We have long admired his correct conformation, style, robust frame, and banana-shaped ears. His pedigree combines the strength of the Rebano Escondido Argentine importation with the successful influence of White Heat and regality of Misty Moon's Mea. His dam was a prodigious milker and excellent mother who produced several Best In Show Champions.
In his short show career, Doctor P has been awarded multiple Best-in-Show honors, a National Championship title, his ILR-SD Certificate of Excellence, and ILR-SD Halter Championship all while competing against the top llamas in the country.
Doctor P was bred by Tom & Jean Carlisle of Lla lla lland llama ranch and later purchased by Jean & Gary DeBoom of Santana Llamas. When both Tom and Jean passed away in Spring of 2016 we knew we wanted to keep their influence alive in our herd. We are excited for the influence Doc will have on our breeding program, but even more so the opportunity to honor two very special people through generations of cria on our farm.
